Shane Cook has over 27 years of experience spanning all facets of the profession, including design, feasibility studies, construction drawings, project management, and even general contracting. After graduating from the E. Fay Jones School of Architecture at the University of Arkansas, Shane moved to Houston where he worked for a total of 12 years at a large firm specializing in commercial architecture and interiors. His project type experience there included retail centers, retail spaces, corporate office spaces, hospitality, and government facilities. He was also one of the firm’s senior designers in addition to heading a department for all four national offices. Shane’s additional work experience includes art galleries, restaurants, shop-ping centers, religious institutions, multi-family, medical clinics, daycare and schools, as well as dozens of residential remodels, additions, new construction and interiors.

Shane is an associate member of the American Institute of Architects. His work has been recognized in numerous national and local publications including Texas Architect, Interior Design, Residential Architect, Custom Home, Contract, Kitchen & Bath Business, Houston Chronicle, and Houston House & Home. His projects have been awarded several ASID design awards as well as three of Houston’s Paper City design awards. Those awards and publications highlight Shane’s crisp aesthetic and attention to detail.
