At CDI, we are thrilled to have been a part of an exciting project that brings multi-generational living to Cumming, Georgia. Tasked with both the architectural and structural aspects, our team embarked on designing an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) that seamlessly integrates into the homeowner’s existing residence.
Spanning 1,800 square feet, this spacious ADU serves as a 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom addition, providing a comfortable and private living space for extended family members. Our design approach focused on creating a harmonious blend of functionality, aesthetics, and structural integrity.
From the layout of the interior to the selection of materials and finishes, every detail was carefully considered to ensure that the ADU not only meets the needs of its occupants but also complements the existing property. We are proud to have played a role in creating a space where families can come together and thrive, fostering a sense of connection and support for generations to come.
